The Board of Directors in their annual strategic planning sessions have adopted the following:

Mission Statement

The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce serves its membership through leadership in the promotion, development, growth and prosperity of business in our community.

Vision Statement

The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce is "the Voice" of our business community.

Mandate

The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce is governed through our Constitution and By-Laws. Our mission statement is achieved by

1. Providing information and resources to new and existing businesses
2. Coordinating networking and educational opportunities for business
3. Advocating on behalf of the local business community as the "voice" of our business community
4. Promoting local businesses to residents and visitors through the Visitor Centre and other means
5. Offering service benefits to members of the Chamber of Commerce
6. Partnering with other groups and organizations to work together on joint initiatives
7. Recognizing leaders in the local community

Member Code of Conduct

Member Code of Conduct Undertaking

As a member of the Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce, I/we recognize that membership is a privilege and membership brings with it the responsibility to assure that members understand and fulfill the membership undertaking.

Accordingly, I/we shall undertake to:

1. Conduct business and professional activities in a reputable manner so as to reflect honorably upon the Kimberley business community;
2. Respect the reputation, profile and status of the Chamber of Commerce and represent the Chamber accordingly;
3. Understand, support and promote the Mission and Vision of the Chamber of Commerce;
4. Participate in the functions and activities of the Chamber of Commerce and where possible, lend my/our business and professional expertise, and;
5. Play a role in the promotion, development and enhancement of business growth and activities within Kimberley and the surrounding area.

 I/we also understand that failure to comply with the professional and personal obligations of the Chamber of Commerce, as outlined above can result in the termination of membership.
