FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce announced today that the Business Excellence Awards were held at the Kimberley Conference Centre on January 14, 2023 and the winners in each award category have been revealed.  And the 2022 Business Excellence Awards winners are:

Home and Mobile Business of the Year Award: Kootenay Canine Adventures

 

Business to Business Excellence Award: Nicole Leclair Photography

 

Health, Wellness and Fitness Award: Iron Goat CrossFit

 

Professional Services Award: Fine + Well Health & Chiropractic

 

Trades Business or Person of the Year Award: Sommer Electric

 

Retail Services Award: Treehouse Toy Co

 

Tourism and Hospitality Award:  The Sullivan Pub

 

Stan Salikin Community Impact Award: Shannon Duncan - Healthy Kimberley Food Recovery Depot 

 

Employee of the Year Award: Brittney McLean - Spirit Rock Climbing Centre

 

Rising Star Award: Kickturn Coffee

 

Keystone Award: Nina's Hillside Garden

 

Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Jaime Gordon - Funk Haus Craft Lab

 

Business of the Year Award: It’s a tie!  Bootleg Bike Co. and Stoke Market

 

Congratulations to all of the 2022 nominees, finalists and winners. The Chamber is proud to celebrate and recognize business excellence in the Kimberley and surrounding area.  

 

The well attended event featured Master of Ceremonies Helen Barron, Executive Director of Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce, guest speaker Mayor Don McCormick, keynote speaker Duncan MacLeod, CEO and Head of School of Purcell Collegiate and music by d’linquint and Kootenay Lately.
